Deputy Minister tackles Yemen humanitarian challenges with UN and MSF

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basoheib, met with the Deputy Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen. They discussed working together to address the challenges in humanitarian, relief, and development efforts.

They also talked about an upcoming workshop to improve partnerships between the government and international organizations. This workshop aims to support the government’s efforts in tackling the crises caused by the war and helping the people in need.

In addition, Dr. Nizar Basoheib had a discussion with the head of the Belgian Doctors Without Borders MSF mission. They talked about the organization’s plans for next year, particularly their medical interventions in Yemen, which will cost 18,767,000 euros.
