Defense Minister Launches Annual Conference for Naval and Coastal Defense Forces
Defense Minister Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Da’ari inaugurated the annual conference for the Naval and Coastal Defense Forces.
The conference focused on reviewing the achievements and tasks of the Naval Forces, enhancing readiness, and protecting regional waters and Yemeni coasts from the threats posed by the Houthi militia.
The Defense Minister highlighted the importance of unity, cooperation, and support from the coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE in countering the Houthi sectarian project.
In turn, Rear Admiral Abdullah Al-Nakhai, the Naval and Coastal Defense Commander and Adviser to the Minister of Defense, emphasized that the naval forces are exerting every effort to maintain their high readiness and execute their duties with utmost efficiency and effectiveness in order to protect the territorial waters and Yemeni coasts.
