Major General Abdul Majid Al-Amiri, the Deputy Minister of Interior for the Civil Services Sector, expressed the ministry’s commitment to strengthening civil status services by implementing the latest and most advanced technological and electronic systems. The primary objective is to provide optimal services to citizens, enabling them to obtain modern identity documents.
The implementation of the new civil status system will commence in Aden, where citizens will start receiving smart personal cards. This marks a significant step in streamlining and modernizing the process of issuing ID cards in the country.
