A teenager was tragically shot and killed by a Houthi sniper in the al-Shaqab area of Taiz city.

The victim, Obeid Mohammed Omeid, was just 16 years old.

The Houthi sniper, stationed on al-Saliheen Hill, targeted and killed Obeid with a shot to the head.

The people of Taiz have been enduring a nine-year-long siege imposed by the Iran-allied Houthi militia, and are constantly facing attacks from the militia.
