An elderly woman was martyred and a young girl critically wounded on Tuesday as a result of shelling by Houthi terrorist militia on residential villages in Alselw district, southeast of Taiz province.
Local sources told September Net that citizen Galelah Qaed Abdullah Ghaleb (60) was martyred in Al-Akuse village by shelling from the Houthi militia stationed in the Khadir district.
The sources added that the same attack seriously injuried 13-year-old girl, Rahaf Raed Abdulhakim, who was transferred to a hospital in Taiz for treatment.
Since its coup against the legitimate government, the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia has persistently bombed and deliberately targeted residential neighborhoods and villages across Taiz province, resulting in numerous civilian casualties-most of whom are women and children.
