Masam clears 4,852 Houthi-plantеd landmines across Yemen in July

King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Centre Demining Project ( MASAM) removed 1,151 landmines from Yemeni territories during the fourth week of July 2025.

These explosives were planted by the Iran-backed Houthi militias across multiple provinces.

According to the center statement, the removed explosives comprised 4 anti-personnel mines, 49 anti-tank mines,1,093 unexploded ordnance (UXO) pieces and 5 improvised explosive devices (IEDs)

This brings July’s total clearance to 4,852 landmines.
