KSRelief’s Masam Project clears 507,588 Houthi landmines in Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s “Masam” project has removed 507,588 explosives planted by the  Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia across Yemen since the project’s launch.

Masam Director, Osamah Alkusaibi confirmed that demining teams cleared 507,588 explosive devices by July 25 – including 345,554 unexploded ordnance (UXO), 8,250 improvised explosive devices (IEDs), 146,957 anti-tank mines, and 6,827 anti-personnel mines.

He stated that over 68, 694,881square meters of land have been cleared so far, adding that work continues to secure further territories for farming, housing, and development.k
