Defense Minister Inspects Giants Brigades on West Coast

Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Dr. Mohsen Al-Daeri inspected the Giants Brigades on the West Coast on Wednesday to assess their combat readiness.
During the visit, attended by the Brigades’ Deputy Commander, Brig. Gen. Abdulrahman Al-Amri, he observed a symbolic parade demonstrating the units’ skills from recent training.
The Defense Minister conveyed greetings from the Political Leadership, represented by Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi and its members. He praised their high combat and technical readiness, as well as their morale.
He expressed pride in the brigades’ major victories against the terrorist Houthi militias on multiple fronts, confirming that they are among the best forces in human and technical readiness and combat doctrine.
He stressed the need for more training and the sharing of expertise, urging unified efforts against the destructive Houthi militias.
He stated, “We are waging a fierce battle against extremist terrorist militias that want to take our country back decades into ignorance, backwardness, and slavery, but we will be the rock that shatters their illusions and priestly project, no matter the sacrifices.”
He added, “We must all be united as one to restore the country’s freedom and glory,” and emphasized loyalty to the martyrs and wounded until achieving the goals of restoring the state and completing liberation.
He also thanked the unlimited support of the brethren in the Arab Coalition, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The Defense Minister was accompanied by a number of high-ranking military officials.
