Foreign Minister Meets French Ambassador to Yemen

Foreign Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani met French Ambassador Catherine Corm-Kammoun to discuss Yemen’s developments and regional issues.

He highlighted the repercussions of the Israeli attack on Qatar and praised France and Saudi Arabia’s efforts toward Middle East peace via the “New York Declaration,” aiming to establish a Palestinian state.

The meeting addressed Yemen’s economic reforms, the need for UN agencies to relocate to Aden, and strengthening government institutional capacities.

The French Ambassador expressed France’s support for training programs, including the Yemeni Diplomatic Institute, and for initiatives in agriculture, health, and fisheries to improve living conditions in Yemen.
