President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi has ordered a swift response to capture those responsible for the recent murder of the Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Taiz, Eftehan al-Mashahri.
The President condemned the killing, offered condolences to al-Mashahri’s family, and instructed security forces to immediately hunt down and prosecute the assassins, while intensifying efforts to eliminate terrorism in all its forms.
He also commended the citizens of Taiz for resisting the Houthi militia and other criminal organizations colluding with it, and praised Yemen’s military and security personnel for safeguarding the country.
