Official Funeral Held for Armed Forces Martyrs in Marib

Marib Governorate witnessed, on Saturday, an official and public funeral for several Armed Forces martyrs from the Third Military Region and the Dhamar Axis. They were martyred while performing their national duty in defense of the revolution, the republic, and national achievements against the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia.
The official funeral ceremony was held for the martyrs and accompanied by military music before their burial in the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Marib City.
The procession was led by the Inspector General of the Armed Forces, Major General Adel al-Qumairi, with the participation of several department directors at the Ministry of Defense, along with military and security leaders.
During the funeral procession, Major General Adel al-Qumairi praised the sacrifices of the Armed Forces in restoring state institutions and countering the Iran-backed Houthi militia’s theocratic agenda.
He affirmed that the Armed Forces leadership made every effort to recover the martyrs’ bodies, ensuring they received an official funeral befitting their sacrifices and were laid to rest alongside their comrades in the Armed Forces Martyrs’ Cemetery.
Major General al-Qumairi prayed for the souls of the martyrs and extended his condolences and deepest sympathy to the leadership of the Dhamar Axis and the families of those who fulfilled their pledge and oath in service of the nation.
He stressed that the sacrifices of the army and Popular Resistance heroes will remain immortal in the memory of the Yemeni people.
