His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) applauded the wise management demonstrated by the leadership of the local authority in the governorates of al-Mahra and Shabwa during the recent events.
“The two governorates of al-Mahra and Shabwa have proved a significant and good example for the state capability of wisely and responsibly managing challenges whenever there is wise and responsible local leadership”, he said.
He voiced his remark during his meeting today, Wednesday, with the Governors of al-Mahra Mohammed Ali Yaser and Shabwa Awadh bin al-Wazir.
The two governors reported to the President about the situations in the two governorates and the local authorities’ ongoing efforts to normalize the situations and the plans aimed to improve basic services and establish security and stability.
The President praised the patriotic stances and behaviors of the fellow citizens in the governorates of al-Mahra and Shabwa during the events the two governorates have seen recently.
The Chairman of the PLC urged the leaderships of the local authority in al-Mahra and Shabwa to double down efforts to establish security and stability.
Coordination must be established among all government’s security organizations tasked with fighting terrorism and managing security challenges”, the President stressed.
