Al-Hazem Operation.. Lifeline for Yemen and the Region

The middle of the night of March 26, 2015, was the escape from falling into the arms of an Iranian sectarian, racist project through the Houthi coup.

The history and Yemenis would never forget, and would remain that even the most visible memory of the country and its generations.

The operation began with the participation of ten Arab nation alliance led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aimed at countering the directly Iran- backed Houthi project,  whose ambition was not only Yemen, but the region as a whole.

In a moment of despair, President Abed Rabo Mansoor Hadi  left Yemen, carrying  the future of Yemen at his hands. The president  asked  the brothers in formal to come out and stand against the draft coup and save Yemen.

At that time, the brothers  had no choice but to meet the call of the Arab and geographic brotherhood, and to declare the military heavy storm, which achieved its biggest goal today, by defeating the Iranian project through the Houthi coup, and making the ambition of control impossible.

Successive military achievement, was the result of a historic moment. It was a top priority to break the project of sectarian control of reactionary racial, then go to correct the imbalances caused by the coup in the institutions of the state, particularly military, starting with the building of the Yemeni national army and the manner of formation. The consequence is the result of a bilateral (the former regime, and the Houthi militia), which was built and formed on sectarian nerve.

The Coalition forces succeeded in destroying the arsenal of the weapons that were looted from the Yemeni army stores immediately after the coup. It also supported the leadership of the national army, which consisted of establishing a national army from scratch, providing modern weapons and supervising its training by specialized military experts.

On April 21, 2016, the coalition leadership announced the end of Al-Hazem Operation in Yemen and the launching of Operation Restore Hope in response to the request of President Abed Rabo Mansoor Hadi.

 

But it was not the end. The beginning of a new stage is an urgent need to complete the process of restoring the Yemeni state from the grip of racist sectarian elements serving an external party has no a real desire for peace.

Talk about the operation in its fourth memory

Vice President of the Republic, Lieutenant-General Ali Mohsen Saleh, said that the decision of the “Al-Hazem Operation” was a true Arab historic decision,  achieved a great victory over the Houthi Iranian sectarian project in Yemen and the region.

The vice president said that the “Al-Hazem Operation” led by Saudi Arabia, a crown at the top of modern history in the Arabian Peninsula and the region.

He added: “The historic decision of the alliance and the response of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the appeal of legitimacy under the leadership of President Marshal Abd Rrbo Mansoor Hadi, united our issues and our destiny within the system of the Gulf Cooperation Council.”

He pointed out that the aspiration of the Yemenis and their hopes to be with brothers within the GCC countries is around the corner.

On the anniversary of the launch of the ” Al-Hazem Operation ” and “Restore Hope”, the Vice President renewed the call for all Yemenis of all sects to stand by the legitimacy under the leadership of His Excellency the President of the Republic to confront the Houthi Iranian sectarian project in Yemen. Justice and equal citizenship and its targeting of Yemeni identity and neighboring countries and international navigation..

The Vice President stressed the need for peace, he said: “The option of peace is a consistent principle adopted by the legitimacy, and made a lot of concessions in the rounds of various consultations, at the time of Houthi policy of war and bloodshed,” noting that Houthi’s insistence on war reveals to Yemenis who stand in line with the interests of the country and seeks to achieve better future, even at the expense of the blood of the people.

Minister of Information Muammar al-Iryani said that the objectives that led to the Al-Hazem Operation and the return of hope on March 26, 2015 indicate the depth of Yemen’s attachment to its Arab side in a fateful connection that cannot be undermined by plots planted by the evil forces hostile to the Arab and Islam.

The minister pointed out that Al-Hazem Operation shows the depth of the strong ties between Yemen and its Gulf neighbors, and in particular our people and brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The fourth anniversary of the operation comes and the people of Yemen are more determined to inflict a terrible defeat on Iran’s customers and their lost remnants. Now, people are more eager for the moment of victory in which this nightmare is gone forever. The Yemenis will then devote themselves to the battle of construction, development and reconstruction, Life-threatening terrorist racism, he added.

The minister pointed out that the heroes of the national army offer precious sacrifices and mingled with the pure blood of the coalition to explain the land of Yemen is purified from the defection of the Houthi militia and tell the Arab epic will come then.

The minister stressed that the coalition was able to deal wisely with many of the pressures and objections over the past four years, which increased the rate of one or another time of confrontations. He praised the willpower of the political leadership led by Marshal Abed Rabbo Mansoor Hadi and the leaders of the coalition countries led by King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and his Crown Prince..
