Citizen loses leg in mine explosion in Hajjah

A civilian has been seriously wounded after stepping on a landmine planted by Iran-backed Houthi militia in the northern province of Hajjah.
A citizen named Ahmed Shoee Fahdel has lost his leg and sustained scattered body injuries in the explosion of a landmine planted by the militia in Makhawi farms in Hairan of Hajja, local sources told September Net.
The victim was taken to receive treatment at hospitals in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the sources added.
Houthi militia largely plants landmines and explosive devices on main roads, schools and near houses as well as farms. These explosives have killed and paralyzed hundreds of civilians in the province most of them women and children.
