Mothers decry brutally killing two abductees under torture in Houthis’ prisons

The Abductees’  Mothers Association  (AMA) has strongly condemned the death of two abductees under torture in the prisons of Houthi militia in Sana’a and Amran northern Yemen.

AMA staged a protest Thursday in Hajjah province, releasing a statement saying the citizens Yahya Al-Namsha and Zaid Al-Namsha were subjected to severe torture in militia prisons following their abduction from Hajjah in the past month.

“Yahya Al-Namsha was found with perforated holes on his hands and blue-like body, which reveals that he was crucified on the walls by driving nails into the palms of his hands, and electroshocked until foam comes out if his mouth,” AMA statement said.

AMA said that 377 citizens from Hajjah were kidnapped, dozens of whom were enforcedly disappeared by Houthi militia in the past three months.

The mothers hold Houthi militia full responsibility for the torture and abduction, bleeding to the United Nations and its envoy in Yemen to promptly intervene to release the rest of abductees unconditionally.
