National army foils Houthi militia’s attempt to lay landmines in Serwah Front

The Yemeni national army forces thwarted Sunday an infiltration attempt carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in the Serwah front in the west of Marib governorate.

The rebel militiamen tried to sneak into the army’s positions in the area in order to plant landmines and improvised explosive devices.

However, the national army forces detected the movements of the Iran-backed rebels, confronted and forced them to flea and retreat.

The army seized number of landmines and explosive devices that were left behind by the militia elements before they ran away.
