At least 15 of the Iran-backed Houthi militia were killed and several others wounded during major battles early Saturday in Maqbana front, west of Taiz.

According to a field source, the clashes erupted west of Taiz, after Houthi militia shelled a group of villages and populated areas.

Cashes took place between the army and the Houthi militia western Taiz, killing 15 Houthis, wounding several others, and destroying militia tanks, the source added.
