Chief of Staff Inspects 2nd Division in Hadramaut

Lieutenant General Sagheer Bin Aziz, Chief of Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, conducted an inspection visit to the Second Division of the National Shield Forces stationed in Al-Wadiah of Hadramaut  Governorate.

During the visit, which included Maj. Gen.  Mohammed Al-Hubaishi, Advisor to the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Staff was briefed by the Division Commander, Colonel Fahd Essa, on the unit’s ongoing training programs, operational readiness, and troop morale.

He conveyed the greetings of His Excellency President Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the members of the Council, as well as those of the Minister of Defence and Head of Joint Forces in Arab Coalition. He extended congratulations to the officers and personnel on the anniversaries of the 26th September and 14th October revolutions.

In an address to the troops, the Chief of Staff praised the 2nd Division for its critical role in maintaining security, defending national interests, and combating smuggling activities.

He emphasized the necessity of intensifying training efforts to prepare forces for the continued mission to liberate the homeland from the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia and its Iranian project.

He stressed the importance of maintaining the highest levels of readiness to execute missions and counter any threats or schemes in liberated territories.

The Chief of Staff expressed his appreciation for the supportive position of brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemen and its people, praising efforts of the Joint Forces Command for backing the Yemeni Armed Forces and enhancing its capabilities.
