The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) (Lt Gen) Mahmoud al-Subaihi stressed that the stability of the temporary capital Aden is the key foundation for victory in the ongoing battle to restore the state institutions and eliminate the Iranian-backed Houthi coup d’état.
His remark came during the government meeting held today, Thursday, at the Maashiq Presidential Palace in the temporary capital Aden co-chaired by al-Subaihi and the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zandani.
The Member of the PLC stated that the current stage requires high vigilance to prevent any attempts aimed at disturbing public peace or undermining state institutions.
Al-Subaihi urged the government to be present on the ground to address people’s concerns and alleviate their suffering.
He also called on local authorities to double down efforts in order to improve basic services and establish security, stability.
