Defense Minister Praises Operations Authority’s Role in Managing the National Battle

Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Dr. Taher Al-Aqili praised the efforts of the Operations Authority and its departments, centers, and affiliated schools in overseeing military operations across the theater of operations in the national battle against the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
This came during his visit to the authority’s headquarter, accompanied by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Dr. Sagheer bin Aziz, where he received a detailed briefing from Head of the Operations Authority Maj. Gen. Khaled Al-Ashwal on procedures, activities, plans, and key achievements of the authority and its affiliated units, including fortifications units, reserve brigades, drone units, and sniper units across operational, training, administrative, and combat aspects.
Al-Aqili affirmed that the level of professionalism shown by the Armed Forces in managing the national battle is a source of pride for the political and military leadership, conveying greetings from President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with council members and the Prime Minister, to members of the Armed Forces.
For his part, the Chief of Staff praised the Operations Authority’s role in strengthening coordination between military regions and combat units, noting that the Yemeni people rely on the Armed Forces, security forces, and resistance, with support from the Saudi-led coalition, to defeat the Houthi militia and restore state institutions.
