Defense Minister Reviews Armed Forces Data Regulation Efforts

Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Dr. Taher Al-Aqili held a meeting today in the interim capital, Aden, with the Human Resources Authority to review the level of progress in implementing plans to regulate Armed Forces data.

The meeting, which included Head of the Human Resources Authority Maj. Gen. Ahmed Al-Marzouqi, his deputy Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Sabari, and directors of relevant departments, reviewed the efforts made to implement plans and programs to unify, regulate, and automate data.

The Defense Minister, in the presence of his Assistant for Human Resources Maj. Gen. Mohammed Batis and Deputy Inspector General Maj. Gen. Misfer Al-Harithi, explained that the current phase requires joint efforts and mobilizing capacities to implement plans and address challenges in a way that enhances control and linkage.

He stressed the importance of adhering to principles of transparency and activating oversight and inspection to ensure building a sound database and systems upon which reforms in other areas can be based.

Lt. Gen. Al-Aqili emphasized the need to continue developing work mechanisms and moving forward with data automation to improve performance efficiency and achieve integration between different entities to build a modern and disciplined military institution.
