Premier and Foreign Minister Praises Saudi Arabia’s Fraternal Role in Supporting Yemen and Its People

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Shaya Zindani praised the sincere fraternal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people, in supporting Yemen during the current exceptional circumstances, whether on the humanitarian, development, or economic levels.

During his meeting today with the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and Supervisor General of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, the Prime Minister stressed that the Saudi program represents an effective model of sustainable interventions that directly address the needs of citizens.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and ways to further enhance and develop them at all levels. It also reviewed the latest national developments, the progress of government reform efforts, and key achievements in this regard.

The discussions further covered the implementation of ongoing projects in vital sectors, particularly electricity, transport, water, health, and education, in addition to efforts aimed at improving infrastructure and strengthening the capacities of service institutions, contributing to alleviating the suffering of citizens.

The Prime Minister also commended the qualitative interventions of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen and its vital role in implementing projects and supporting government efforts in priority sectors.

For his part, the Saudi Ambassador reaffirmed the Kingdom’s continued commitment to supporting Yemen and standing by its government and people, noting that the Saudi Program will continue implementing its projects according to well-planned strategies aimed at achieving tangible and sustainable impact across sectors, enhancing stability and development in Yemen.
