Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Col. Majed Al-Nuzaili announced that the Armed Forces carried out 81 military operations over the past 24 hours against Houthi terrorist militia elements and positions across the frontlines.

The spokesman said in a statement that the operations led to the neutralization of a number of Houthi militia members and field commanders and destroyed military equipment, vehicles and sources of threat.

Col. Al-Nuzaili said the operations were part of a series of retaliatory measures taken by the Armed Forces against the Houthi militia’s repeated terrorist attacks on the Yemeni people’s interests and resources, including deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure.

He said the Houthi militia is besieging the Yemeni people and worsening their suffering by targeting Al-Dhabba Port, which led to the halt of oil exports and disrupted the flow of government revenues used to pay public sector salaries.

He said the Houthi militia is responsible for destroying the Yemeni people’s resources through its direct involvement in regional conflicts in pursuit of external agendas, which has made Yemen part of conflicts serving the interests of other countries.

The spokesman said these Houthi actions led to the destruction of Sana’a International Airport, the disruption of passenger traffic and damage to Yemenia aircraft at the airport. He also cited the militia’s rejection of government initiatives to resume flights from Sana’a to various destinations to alleviate the suffering of civilians in areas under its control, as well as damage caused to Yemen’s Red Sea ports of Hodeidah, Salif and Ras Issa.

Col. Al-Nuzaili added that the militia’s continued attacks on civilian facilities—including the recent attacks on the Port of Mokha and Al-Ardi pier in Bab Al-Mandab, attacks on ships carrying food supplies, and attacks on residential areas and displaced persons’ camps in Marib—demonstrate its determination to besiege and starve the Yemeni people.

He noted that the Yemeni government has issued more than 350 permits for commercial ships to enter the ports of Hodeidah, Salif and Ras Issa since the beginning of 2026.

He reaffirmed that the Armed Forces remain committed to defending Yemen’s security and sovereignty and protecting the dignity of its citizens, stressing that they will not allow external agendas to be implemented across Yemeni territory.

He said the Armed Forces’ recent successes resulted from improved capabilities to conduct coordinated and simultaneous operations across the fronts. The operations have neutralized Houthi capabilities and caused confusion within the militia ranks, demonstrating the state’s determination to restore its institutions and territory and end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
