President al-Alimi Receives Written Message from Emir of Qatar

His Excellency Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received a written response from his brother His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar in a reply to an earlier message from His Excellency concerning the fraternal relations between the two countries and the latest developments in Yemen.

In his message, the Emir of Qatar expressed his appreciation for the historic ties and relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples, and affirmed Qatar’s commitment to strengthening and developing them across various fields in a manner that serves their common interests.

His Highness also renewed Qatar’s commitment to standing by the Republic of Yemen and its issues, as well as its continued support for efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in Yemen, preserving its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
