September Net
The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) avowed that the ‘Yemen Dawn’ operation is steadily moving towards fully achieving its goals of eliminating the coup, restoring state institutions and asserting sovereignty over the entire national territory, restating its pledge to the Yemeni people to reclaim their decision-making and the right of its children to a future free from militias rule.
The PLC clarified, in a statement marking a month since the launch of the ‘Dawn of Yemen’ operation, that the armed forces have carried out 40,761 military strikes against the Houthi militias on various fronts since October 5, during which about 20,000 of their leaders and militiamen were neutralized and more than five thousand vehicles were destroyed or disabled. It emphasized that these results reflect the scale of the attrition and the painful blows the militias have been taking and their military capabilities.
The PLC hailed the heroes of the armed forces, security forces and popular resistance, as well as the resilience of the people of Taiz in facing the blockade and the aggression of the terrorist Houthi militias, stressing that the Yemenis’ right to their land and state will not change and that their sacrifices will remain a trust that deserves commitment and care.
The Council highly praised the great fraternal stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both leaders and people, greatly valued its genuine role in supporting the resilience of Yemenis, backing state institutions, salaries, services and alleviating humanitarian suffering.
The PLC reiterated the state’s responsibility towards its citizens, urging the people of Yemen in areas forcibly controlled by militias to stick to the republican system, protect their children from recruitment and exploitation, and refuse to let their homes and civil institutions be used for military purposes.
