National Army forces, backed by the Popular Resistance on Wednesday freed new areas in the Al-Azariq district west of Al-Dhale province.

Army forces had launched a surprise attack on the militias’ posts in Al-Azariq district, liberating the villages of Rabat, Al-Alshgva and Al-Sbhah, west of Tursah area.

Houthi militia suffered heavy casualties and a number of their military vehicles were destroyed.

In Al-Fakher area north of Qatabah district, the army forces shelled Houthi militia’s positions, killing 26 militiamen including key leaders and destroying several combat vehicles.
