MASAM removes 604 landmines during the 4th week of past June

The Project for Landmine Clearance MASAM, announced that it had removed 604 landmines planted by the Houthi militia during the fourth week of past June.

Project Manager of MASAM Osama Al-Gosaibi explained that the field teams had removed of 268 anti-tank mines and 4 antipersonnel mines.

The teams also removed 330 unexploded ordnance,  and two explosive devices during the past week, Al-Gosaibi added.

He pointed out that 1839 mines and unexploded ordnance were removed from the beginning of June until the 27th of the same past month.

The total of what has been removed since the launch of the project a year ago until 27 June 74115 varied between mines, explosive devices and unexploded ordnance, he stressed.
