Govt launches prosthetic limbs project in Aden

Yemen’s government launched a new prosthetic limbs fabrication project in the temporary capital Aden.

The project, supported by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, aims to serve more than 600 military and civilian people who lost limbs in the Houthi war in Aden, Lahj, Abyan and Al-Dhale.

Deputy Health Minister Abdullah Dahan and Deputy Governor Alawi al-Nowbah inaugurated the center.

The director of the Prosthetic Limbs Center in Aden Abdullah Al-Qaysi and the director of KSrelief in Yemen Saleh Dhayban pointed out that the center trained 16 technicians in the art of installing artificial limbs.
