National army forces thwarted on Thursday an attack carried out by Houthi coup militia in the east of Hodeidah province.

The clashes broke out after the Houthi militants attempted to advance towards army’s positions in the area of Kelo 16, but were beaten and forced to flee after suffering several killed and injured.

Moreover, the Houthi militia targeted army’s sites with mortar shells in al-Fazah and al-Gabaleah areas in Tohaita district.
