Army counters Houthi attack south of Hodeidah

The National Army forces under the command of President Hadi, backed by the Arab Coalition for the support of legitimacy in Yemen on Sunday, repulsed the Iran-backed Houthi rebels attack on the road to Beit Al-Faqih, south of Hodeidah, west of the country.
Groups of the Houthi militia tried to move towards the area of Al-Jah, in Beit Al-Faqih district. The army defeated the militia attack, forcing survivors to retreat, after causing heavy casualties and losses in militia’s hardware.
The Houthi militia continues to target the positions of the national army in the province, while the army adhere to the UN truce, likewise the orders of the political and military leadership.
