Al-Yazidi informs Algerian FM on developments in Yemen
Yemen’s Ambassador to Algeria Ali Al-Yazidi discussed Tuesday with Director of Arab Countries Management at Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Yarqi latest developments in Yemen.
Ambassador Al-Yazidi pointed to political, military and humanitarian situations and continuous Houthi militia stubbornness on solving the crisis as it is still besieging cities led by Taiz city, escalating in human rights violations and rejecting implementation of Stockholm agreement, which is considered the first phase of the peaceful solution.
He pointed to UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s armed rebellion in Aden and Abyan.
For his part, the Algerian official confirmed his country’s support to peace efforts for solving Yemeni crisis and support to the internationally recognized government.
