Army thwarts militia attacks in Serwah & Nihm
Yemen’s Armed forces thwarted on Monday several attacks and infiltration attempts carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Serwah fronts western Marib province.
The army was able to stop an attempt by Houthi militias in Serwah & Nehm fronts, forcing militias to flee, after inflicting heavy losses in equipment and lives.
In Qaniya front north of Al-Bayda province, Houthi militia shelled army’s sites coinciding with similar shelling of army’s positions in Hilan, Al-Mushahaj, and Makhadrah fronts of Marib province.
The army continues to adherence to the ceasefire in implementation of President Abd Rabbo Mansur Hadi’s instructions, and in response to a UN call.
