Security and military agencies in the city of Al-Gheidah of Al-Mahrah province seized Friday terrorist cells after they were surrounded in a number of neighborhoods in the city.

Deadly clashes broke out after security forces raided three sites were the terrorist elements hideout.

The clashes resulted in killing three terrorist elements, while the rest were taken prisoner.

A security source in Al-Mahrah governorate explained that the security and military agencies, with information support from the Arab coalition, managed to seize the terrorist elements coming from outside the province.

The  security forces found weapons, explosive belts, and electronic devices in the three sites.

The source praised the efforts and vigilance of the security and military agencies that thwarted terrorist cells, without registering any casualties in their ranks, praising the solidarity of citizens and standing by the security forces and the army.
