Fighting rages northern Taiz, Houthi militia shells city housing areas
Battles broke out Monday between Yemeni armed forces and the Iran-backed Houthi militia north of Taiz, killing and wounding a number of militiamen and destroying their combat vehicles.
In the same context, two female girls were killed and three other civilians were injured in artillery shelling by Houthi militias on housing areas north of the city.
A medical source confirmed to September Net that two girls were killed, the first seven months old, the second nine years old, and three other civilians were injured in the shelling.
The source added that all the injured were in critical condition, and the militia’s shelling continues until the moment this news is released.
