Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Taher al-Aqeeli has directed the competent authorities to carry out a speedy investigations into the seized truck that was carrying weapons and fake currencies on Sunday.

It was caught by army in Marib- Albaydah highway and was on its way to the coupists in their held-capital Sana’a.

Gen. al-Aqeeli has hailed high vigilance of the security personnel  and their effective roles in preventing smuggling incidents.

Moreover, the captured truck was loaded with big mounts of counterfeit money, tank and artillery ammunition as well as pistols with silencers , according to military source.
