Houthi-Saleh militias have forcibly displaced over 117 families in al-Ashrooh village of Jabal Habashi, west of Taiz City.

September Net correspondent in Taiz said that the population in villages were forced to leave their houses under gun-machine fire of militias.

He quoted local sources as saying that the militiamen planted dozens of landmines and explosive devices in the inhabitants’ houses and surrounding areas to prevent the locals from returning, and the remaining from leaving.

“Yesterday, a landmine blown up on a family members while being evacuated forcefully by militias, which led to wounding seriously two young girls, one of them lost her leg.”

Hundreds others families in the same area couldn’t flee to survive due to the randomly shelling and densely planted landmines on main roads by the militias, according to the sources.
