The national army forces continued advancing on Sunday western Taiz city, liberating stratagic areas after violent battles with Iran-backed Houthi militias.

Military source said to September Net that the army forces managed to retake Algasha and Almakrami hills as well as
al-Ashab area eastern Taiz city after fierce clashes with Houthi militiamen.

In Parallel, the army troops launched an attack against the coupists stationed in the mountainous areas and strategic hill of Alsalal eastern the city, aiming to liberate the remaining areas under militias control.

Dozens of militiamen were killed and wounded in addition to destroying several vehicles and heavy weapons during the battles, according to the source.

As for the west of the city, the Saudi-led Arab Coalition warplanes launched a number of air raids on militias’ positions in Gabal Habashi district, leaving several killed including two field leaders known as “Nashawn Almohabi” and “Khaled Abdu Ahmad”, local sources said.
