At least 35 member of Iran-backed Houthi militiamen were killed and others wounded during fierce fighting with army forces in Barat Alanan district of Al-Jawf province on Thursday.

The spokesman of the 1st Border Guards Brigade Major “Faisl Abdu” said to September Net, fierce clashes erupted after the coupists tried to attack army’s positions in Salbah and Alkashan valleys of Barat Alanan district, but were beaten and inflicted 35 killed and many others wounded.

The Saudi-led Arab Coalition warplanes supported the army troops in the district by launching several airstrikes on militias’ vehicles and positions, resulting in destroying five vehicles and killing a number of militants.
