National Army Forces have liberated, on Friday, strategic Mountain from the coup militia in Taiz city, southwestern the country.

Correspondent of September Net quoted military sources saying that the army troops have regained control of key Haid Al-Hamam Mountain, located in Maqbanah district, south of the city.

The sources said that the army had been besieging the rebels in the mountain since Thursday night before they retook it today following fierce confrontations, in which scores of insurgents were killed and injured.

National military’s engineering team has managed to remove dozens landmines and IEds planted by the militia around the mountain in an attempt to hinder the troops’ progress, according to the sources.
