National Army forces on Sunday liberated new areas from the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Al-Jouf governorate, north of the country.

Commander of Operation in the 1st Brigade of Border Guard, Gen. Hadi Al-Juaidi told September Net that the brigade’s forces retook control of Al-Amhoor road, Al-Salam mountains, in Bart Al Anan district, west of Jouf.

A number of the Houthi rebel militants were killed, injured and captured by the the army, while the rest fled positions, according to Al-Juaidi.

National military in Jouf has been completing the process of liberation for a month, liberating key areas including Khab Alsha’af, the biggest border district with Saudi Arabia.
