National Army continue its military operation in Baqem district making significant advancements against Houthi coup militia north of Sa’ada province on Thuresday.

The operation Commander in 102 brigade, Col. Kanaan al-Ahsap told September Net that the army troops
continue recording sweeping advances in Baqem district freeing large areas and still have only few Kilometers to the center of the district.

Col. al-Ahsap confirmed that the army forces managed to liberate Altha’abeen valley, the mountain range of Yafa and Alsenam as well as large area of Alhadeed mountains ,advancing in Mozher mountain of the same district amid fierce battles with the Houthi militia.

More than 15 elements of Houthi militias were killed, many more were wounded and seven others were captured including ground leader, known as Fayz Goman, according to Col. al-Ahsap.

In parallel, the army forces have imposed blockade on the militia inside the center of Baqem from all sides.
