Army troops gain significant victories in Hudeidah

National Army troops supported by Arab Coalition warplanes continued advancing on Sunday in the districts of Bait Alfakeah and Alhosyneah in Hudiedah province, western the country.
Military sources told September Net that the army troops continue battling Iran-backed Houthi militias in several fronts of the province, making significant advancements in ‘Algah’ areas of Bait Alfakeah district.
Multiple casualties have been accounted for among militias ranks, both in artillery and personnel, added the sources.
The army forces announced that the coastal area of Al-Tayf and it’s historical castle have been completely liberated after pushing the Iran-backed Houthi militia out of their pockets in the area.
At least 13 Houthi militiamen were detained and two of their combat vehicles were destroyed as they launched failed infiltration attempt into army-controlled positions in Hays district south of Hudeidah, sources says.
In the context, Saudi-led Arab Coalition Apache and warplanes have covered the army troops during the battles by launching several airstrikes on militias’ positions and gatherings in Beat Alfakeah district.
Scores of Houthi insurgents including their field leader known as ‘Hefd Allah Alshami’ were killed and many more injured as a result of the Coalition’ raids.
Notably, The Houthi militias witnessed major collapse and setback among their lines in the province in which they were hit by human and financial losses, while the army continued advances in different fronts of the city.
