Army forces record new progress western Taiz
National Army troops have made significant advancements on Sunday after heavy clashes with Houthi coup militias western Taiz province.
Military source said to September Net, the army forces in Al-Barh area west of Taiz have regained control over several mountainous positions and hilltops, overlooking the valley of Resyan after fierce battles with the rebels Houthi militias.
The source mentioned that the army troops have launched heavy artillery shelling on miltias’ positions near Resyan valley, causing serious casualties among militias ranks.
In the context, the army troops stationed in Alwazieea district have conducted a military operation aimed to cut off routes pumping artillery to coup militias and also to reach the roadline linking between Al-Garahi and Taiz, according to the sources.
