Deming experts remove dozens of mines planted by Houthis in Shabwa

Army forces in Osailan district of Shabwa province has extracted Tuesday scores of land mines planted by the Houthi militia.

A military source said to September Net that the engineering teams had detected the area of “Beer Aljabri”, and removed a large quantity of mines planted by the militia.

The source said the clearance came two days after the civilian Salem Abdullah Omar Alharethy was martyred in explosion of a landmine planted by the rebels.

He said demining experts will continue working to demine all the surrounding areas, urging the civilians to stay away from the areas not cleared from mines until they are fully secured.
