National Army makes gains in Saada, Houthi militia flees positions

Ntional Army Forces achieved on Friday significant advancements in different battle-fronts of Saada province, north of the country.

Field sources said to September Net that violent battles between the army and Houthi militia took place in various positions, south of Baqim district.

The sources said that army forces, backed by coalition warplanes, carried out a wide attack on the sites of the militia western the district, and retook control over the White Hills, and another locations close to Abwab AlHadeed, that overlooks the district’s center.

Meantime, the army made further progression toward the center of Kitaf district, after they waged fierce offensive on the Houthi militia, positioned at the range of hills and heights which supervise the Asphalt road en route to the center of Kitaf, the sources mentioned.

They said the national army managed to liberate Al-Kharashep valley, Al-Nosrah, Wadi Al-Harma’, Al-Safra mountain, Om Shadad and the Al-Salam school.

“The battles and coalition raids, said the sources, resulted in dozens deaths and injured from militia and the destruction of heavy combat materials and weapons for the Houthi militia.”
