More than 30 Houthi militia elements including 5 leaders killed in battles in Al-Bayda province
National army continued on Saturday its advances against the Houthi militia in Al-Malajem district in the country’s central province Al-Bayda.
A source in the Information Center of the 5th Military Region said that the national army forces, supported by Arab coalition fighters, are continuing their combat operations they have been waging to regain rest of areas held by the militi in the region of Fadha and its valley.
The source said the army forces had arrived to the outskirts of Albaid zone, after they regained control over strategic positions in the area.
More than 30 Houthi rebels were killed and over 13 others were injured in the battle with the army, the source said.
The source added that among the dead rebels were 5 from the militia field leaders, pointing out that the Houthi militia also suffered major losses in combat vehicles and materials.
