National army engaged in heavy confrontations with the Houthi militia on Sunday, in Al-Majem district of Al-Bayda province, central the country.

A field source for September Net said the confrontations broke out in the early hours of Sunday after the rebel militia tried to sneak into the army’s sites at the Valley of Fadha, but the army blocked the militia attempt and forced its elements to flee and retreat.

The source said the army forces killed and injured several Houthi rebels in the fighting and destroyed a combat vehicle.
