National Army makes new advancements in the east of Sa’ada

National armed forces have liberated Tuesday strategic sites from Houthi coup militia in the east of Sa’ada province, north of the country.

Col. Helal al-Khaledi, operation commander of the 9th brigade of Border Guards, stated to September Net that the army troops have regained control over the mountains range of “Alshaneefa” located between Al-Jawf and Sa’ada provinces after fierce battles against Houthi coup militia.

Col. al-Khaledi said that a number Houthi militiamen were killed or wounded and several others were captured during the battles.

He added that the army troops become in the outskirts of al-Hashwah district and the battles will continue till liberating the center of the district and then the remaining areas under militia’s control in the province of Sa’ada.
