8 members of one family killed, wounded by a Houthi-planted mine in Hajjah
Eight family members were killed and injured when the car they were travelling in hit a landmine planted by the Houthi rebel militias in the district of Abs, Hajjah province, on Friday.
The citizen Mohammed Ibrahim was traveling in his car, along with his wife and their three children and his mother and brother, when the car passed on a mine and exploded in a road linking Janob Heran and Bani Hasan areas, in the district of Abs, medical sources told September Net.
“The explosion left one member dead and sent the 7 others to the hospital, with different multiple injuries,” added the sources.
Landmines and improvised explosive devices planted by Houthi militias in their formerly held-areas before fleeing them have killed and maimed thousands of innocent civilians, mainly women and children.
