Army liberates new mountainous area in Saada
National Army troops on Saturday morning have managed to liberate the mountainous chain of Al-Adedah in Baqim district, north of Saada province.
Brigadier Aziz Al-Khatabi, commander of Border Guards 3rd brigade, confirmed to September Net that the national army forces took over the chain of mountains that over looks the center of Baqim district, after they carried out a fierce offensive against the Houthi militias.
He said the Houthi militia inflicted dead and injured, and a number of its elements were captured by the army during the fighting.
Brig. Al-Khatabi noted that the army was also able to recover large amounts of weapons and various ammunition, in addition to wireless communication devices from the rebels.
